Several days ago I picked up And here’s the kicker by Mike Sacks. This is a book of conversations with 21 top humor writers.
There are some great names included in this book: Harold Ramis, Buck Henry, David Sedaris, Dave Barry. This is a writer’s book, not a reader’s book. If you want to know what these guys were thinking when they wrote some great material, this one is for you.
I’m going to piddle through it while I read other books too. But so far this has been a valuable tool and I highly recommend it.
